Kayla LaPointe

Kayla LaPointe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who obtained a Master of Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University. Prior to this, Kayla also received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Fairfield University. She has experience working with diverse clients in group and individual therapeutic settings and has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and families. Kayla believes in meeting clients where they are in life and providing support to help them navigate through the challenges they may be facing. She is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring and expressing their authentic self. Kayla takes a strengths-based approach and enjoys implementing creative modalities that meet the needs of individuals and families. She aims to work collaboratively with clients to reach their goals and create lasting change. Kayla joined CBH in 2023 and is excited to join the team as an outpatient clinician!
