Chris Brown
LPC, Director of School Partnerships
Chris spent the past 30 years working in public/special education as a Director of Special Education/Pupil Services and a School Psychologist. Additionally, Chris has more than 25 years experience providing direct mental health services as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout Chris’s 30 years in education, he has supervised special education teachers, social workers, counselors, school psychologists and speech-language pathologists. Chris was also an adjunct faculty member at Southern CT State University for more than 20 years from 1996 to 2017, teaching graduate students in the Counseling and School Psychology program. Chris’s role with CBH will be our Director of School District Partnerships. This will involve Chris working with school districts to identify special education programming needs, developing a staffing and program structure to support those needs, and providing professional development training across a wide range of topics. Chris will also be available to complete evaluations with students, and meet with school teams to consult or provide clinical supervision.
