She has experience as a clinician across various settings, including residential facilities, group homes, and outpatient care, serving children, adolescents, and young adults.
Alex believes that establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is the cornerstone of successful therapy, allowing clients to feel safe and understood as they navigate their healing journeys. Alex specializes in trauma-informed treatment, utilizing a psychodynamic approach that delves into the underlying emotions and experiences that shape behavior. She integrates evidence-based methodologies, including the Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC) framework and Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). These approaches help clients make sense of their past experiences, regulate their emotions, and build resilience.
Alex is passionate about empowering her clients to cultivate self-awareness and develop coping strategies that promote healing and growth. She strives to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment, ensuring that each individual feels valued and supported. By tailoring her therapeutic methods to meet the unique needs and interests of each client, Alex fosters a collaborative space for exploration and inner change to happen.
