Amanda Kemp is a mindful behavior analyst, passionate about applying the principles of behavior to help others and disseminating the science of behavior analysis. Amanda is a licensed and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the state of Connecticut. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Charter Oak State College and completed her Masters of Behavior Analysis at Simmons University. In addition to her work with CBH in-home services, Amanda practices full-time within the public school system, serving students in pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. Amanda has experience across a variety of settings and client populations with experience in the areas of social emotional learning, staff training and teacher consultation. Amanda currently serves as a subject matter expert (SME) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and is a mindfulness instructor. Amanda aims to use behavior analysis to help alleviate human suffering and promote change in the lives of those with severe disabilities. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and engaging in lifelong learning.
